IAD Skydive Training
Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) is the modern version of a static line jump. It is a USPA approved
method of instruction leading you to receiving your skydiving A License after 25 training jumps. You will receive a full day of ground school (six to eight hours) in our dedicated classroom that is fully equiped with a mock aircraft, hanging harnasses, belly boards, and other aides to ensure you receive the best training available anywhere. Your first IAD jump will be from 3,500 feet. As you step out of the aircraft and take a proper stance, you'll receive a final nod from your instructor inside the plane and let go of the plane! As you do, your instructor will release your pilot chute, deploying your parachute. As your canopy opens you'll begin piloting back to the dropzone. You'll of course be assisted via ground-to-air radio to guide you in for a safe landing! And you'll be one step closer to becoming a full fledged licensed skydiver! Check our pricing page for skydive training costs. |
