So.. You want to jump out of a plane?

You're not alone! Over 300,000 people in the US make their first skydive every year!

With Skydive Tecumseh you can rest assured knowing you've found the dropzone with the proper staff, equipment, aircraft, and training methods to ensure you'll love the experience - from your training on the ground with our experienced staff, that pivotal moment with your toes on the edge of an open door, all the way to that first deep breath with your feet back on the ground!

We offer three USPA approved methods to make your first jump - Tandem, IAD, and AFF; each method will get you in the air and back to the ground safely, they just differ in cost and the amount of training required. Each can also help you to achieve different goals.

Tandem Skydive

You will be harnessed to a licensed tandem master and will exit from 10,000 feet! The tandem master will handle the deployment and landing of the parachute. You just relax and enjoy the ride. We recommend this method for your first jump. If you like being in the air, we can explain the next steps to you. -more tandem information-

AFF - Accelerated FreeFall

Accelerated freefall involves six hours of ground school followed by your skydive from at least 10,000 feet with two AFF instructors at your side. You will then deploy, pilot, and land your own parachute with radio assistance from an instructor on the ground. -more AFF information-

IAD - Instructor Assisted Deployment (aka Static Line)

An IAD jump involves six hours of ground school and then you will jump from 3,500 feet. Your instructor will deploy your parachute for you as you leave the plane. You will then pilot and land your own parachute with radio assistance from an instructor on the ground. -more IAD information-
